This album? Why? What's it for? Who wants this?
This album happened mainly because I wanted to work on something that had I full control of. I don't just mean musically but how it was done and when. This album would get done or not on my timetable. And sure enough it's late. My deadline, my fault.
But I also did this for fun. I wanted to experiment with songwriting. I wanted to see what kind of a Pop song I would write, I love 80s Metal, could I write a plodding Heavy Metal Anthem? What would it sound like if I tried to write a heartfelt Country song and so on? I wanted it to sound like a compilation album. In my head it does anyway.
Even though I worked mostly alone on this I have had a great time doing it. So many takes ruined by my laughing. Really this album, for me, was about the process and it feels weird to be finished or having people hear it.

It was coming up to Christmas,
And the reindeer were tired of waiting,
So they climbed up the workshop,
To see what the elves were making,
They decided right then and there,
What they were going to do,
When the elves took their next chocolate break,
They'd break the door in two,

Dasher grabbed a drum kit,
And Vixen grabbed a bass,
Blitzen and Comet took guitars and ran about the place,
Rudolf looked around and found an mic and a stand,
For his red nose would help him,
To front The Christmas Band,

Back in the reindeer's stable,
Which was no renamed "The Hut",
Dancer and Prancer practiced moved,
While the band tunes up,
Donna kept security,
And barricaded the door,
Cupid wrote the lyrics,
While Rudolf practiced roars,

With Dasher on the drum kit,
And Vixen on the bass,
Blitzen and Comet shred guitars,
Melting snow without a trace,
Rudolf stands out front,
Like no human man can,
For his red nose helps him,
To front The Christmas Band,

Woke Santa from his sleep,
He said "if you want to keep this gear,
